TAKEN comes out exactly six months from today! This doesn’t seem possible because I swear my agent called just yesterday to tell me my release date. (Truth: she called back in April.) Where does the time go?
I’ve been busy these past few months–working on TAKEN’s sequel, writing some Shiny New stories, designing lots of swag. I’ve been quiet on the blogging front, not to mention twitter. (And when I’m quiet on twitter, you know I’m truly busy.) I wish I could do both more often, but I’m sure you’d all rather have TAKEN’s sequel some day.
But since we are six months away from TAKEN hitting shelves, I thought it would be fun to celebrate by giving away a bunch of swag. Specifically: bookmarks, bookplates, and stickers.
Here’s a peek at the goods. The bookplates and stickers feature snippets of TAKEN’s cover, as do the bookmarks, although the latter are by far my favorite. (I think they do the stunning cover art justice.)
Oh, and see all that tiny white text on top of the tree in the bookmark shot? That’s my first ever blurb! Since I know you don’t have the ability to enhance the photo to clarity, here’s what it says:

LEGEND was one of the dystopians I devoured last fall, caught up in the world and the stakes and the characters. (Can I tell you how anxious I am for PRODIGY? I miss Day and June!) I’m so thrilled that Marie took the time out of her insanely busy schedule to read TAKEN (thank you, Marie!) and even more humbled that she had such wonderful things to say about it (seriously, M–if you’re reading this, thank you a million times over!). I can’t wait for the rest of you to read TAKEN come April. (Maybe you’ll even share Marie’s sentiments.) But until then…
