What to Expect with an Add-On Critique

After you’ve tackled your first design project, it is natural to want some feedback. Did you effectively apply the fundamentals of design to your project? Is your design’s purpose clear and concise? How and where can you improve the design? For a small additional investment, I can review your design and provide feedback.

If you choose to invest in an add-on a critique, you’ll receive an email with more instructions, but in short, the crit process looks something like this:

Within 30 days of purchase, you provide me with JPGs of your design and an overview of your design’s purpose (goal, audience, takeaway/response)
I respond with personalized feedback—what’s working, what isn’t, and suggestions of how to improve/strengthen the design

You can then choose to implement those suggestions…or not! Much like with writing, crit feedback isn’t absolute and you get the final say in your art.

Please note that your critique must be redeemed within 30 days of purchase. This allows me to estimate my workload and close to new critiques when necessary. It is strongly advised that you only purchase your critique when you have a completed design ready to share.
