Looking for gorgeous, eye-catching swag or graphics to help promote your book? You’ve come to the right place. Before transitioning into full-time writing, I worked as a designer and art director, helping brands meet their marketing needs. My background in design has continued to serve me well, allowing me to promote my books effectively and efficiently. I want to help you do the same thing.
As an author, I’m uniquely aware of the challenges writers face—from budgeting and timing constraints, to making a book stand out in a crowded market (and busy social media feed). I’m excited to be offering my design services for the first time. Let’s take your book promo to the next level!
Please note that these are starting prices and costs may be higher for jobs with unique challenges.
Ready to work together? Not sure which services will meet your needs? Let’s chat and work out the details.
I don’t see exactly what I need in your available services.
Drop me a line anyway. I do custom work all the time. (The only thing I’m not currently taking on is web design projects.) We’ll discuss your needs over email and see if there’s a way I can help!
How long does it take to receive final files?
Like you, I’m an author, so my turnaround times will vary depending on my current writing schedule. We’ll discuss a delivery date before you have to commit/pay for anything.
Is there an option to rush a project?
Yes, within reason. If you need files very quickly, we can discuss rush fees.
How is payment handled?
I will send you an invoice via paypal after we’ve agreed to work together. Design on the project will not begin until payment is received in full.
Is my money refundable?
Once design is underway, the payment is non-refundable. But we’ll discuss your goals/wishes for the project before I begin designing, and there are also revisions baked into the flat fee so that you can provide feedback and see changes made based on that feedback. I want you to have a product you love.
What if I’m not happy with the design even after revisions?
Additional revision rounds can be added for a flat fee of $50/each. If design requests are large/sweeping, a rush fee may be added if you still need files by the original due date.
Where should I print my bookmarks/postcards?
My preferred vendor is GotPrint.com. Their products are high quality at an extremely reasonable price. Your final file is yours to use however you want, but I design to GotPrint’s specs/dimensions, meaning I can’t speak to how the file will print elsewhere. I’ll supply a printing guide that walks you through ordering via GotPrint to help ensure that your bookmarks arrive looking as gorgeous as possible.
I’m worried about production costs of print materials.

A small sampling of recent design jobs
I’m currently booking projects with delivery dates in February and March (2021).
Click the “get started” button to answer the pre-client questionnaire, which will give me a better idea of your design needs and goals. Please note that you are not making a commitment to pay for any services at this junction, nor am I agreeing to officially take on the design job at this time. I will be in touch via email to provide a personalized quote, and so that we can discuss details and decide if we’re a good match.*
*Please note that if you contact me about services that I do not currently offer (such as web design, or requesting help to edit/publish your book), I will not respond.
